We are adding other native specimens such as Cedar Elms, Desert Willows , Texas Hibiscus and Mexican Buckeyes. We gather the acorns and seeds here locally, germinate them and watch them grow in the greenhouse until they are ready to shift to a one gallon container. As they grow they are shifted up.

We sold lots of trees in the fall. We shifted trees up in late fall and are looking forward to them growing in caliber this spring.
The Mexican White Oak is gaining in popularity. It grows well in this area, is resistant to pests and diseases. and is evergreen, for the most part.

This deciduous tree/shrub can grow up to 30 feet. It is a member of the Soapberry Family and can add a nice variance to ones yard.
All the Crepe Myrtles are started from cuttings from trees here on our property. We have the bright red, Tuscarora, Natchez White, Basham Party Pink and now Lilac colors in 1 gallons, 3-5 gallons, and 15 gallon.
The Desert Willow is a small tree or large shrub, with an open, spreading canopy. It is really not a willow, but so named since it does resemble a willow tree. It has a lovely little bloom in the spring.
This wonderful, native shrub grows and blooms well in the full sun, yet is shade tolerant. It blooms in the spring, but remains green throughout the year, even in the coldest of winters.
The native Shumark Red Oak is can provide a bit of fall color before it looses its leaves for the winter. It grows into a great,majestic shade tree.
